More Author Quest pics!
Although our June Author Quest camp wrapped up last Sunday, the experience is still fresh in my mind. It was such a fascinating, wonderful four days, and it was a thrill to be among so many people who love to do what I do: write, write, and write! It was great to see so many returning young authors, new campers, as well as staff and counselors. Speaking of which: thanks again to everyone who did their part to make Author Quest such a huge success, and that includes all of our 48 attendees. A great group of young people who were respectful to themselves and others, and respectful to the beautiful land we were privileged to use for the week. Special thanks to Papa Razzi and Scott Castelein for documenting the entire camp through pictures and videos.
Those of you who wish to attend our 2013 Author Quest camps, applications are available at Chillermania and online. I can’t stress this enough: if you want to attend, get your application and essay in right away. I anticipate that both camps for next year will fill up before this summer ends.
I know there are many Author Quest pictures posted on the previous pages, but the ones below are my personal shots that I took over the weekend. I didn’t get very many, because I’m was pretty busy. But I thought I would share, anyway.
Things are getting back to normal here at home. We’ve been taking the dogs swimming every day, and they’ve been having a great time. I’m back into my summer writing groove, and it feels really great. I’ve got several projects that I’m working on. I will work on one for a couple of hours, then switch to another one, then switch to another one, and then switch back to my first one. I’m happy to report that about halfway done with Creepy Campfire Chillers Volume 2. I don’t know if it will be available before summer ends, but it’s possible. I’m trying!
I’ll be scheduling some events at Chillermania very soon, so those of you traveling north this summer might have an opportunity to drop by and get your books autographed. Keep an eye on the main page for details.
Back to work! Thanks for checking in!
Best wishes and happy reading,
